What else is there:
Well, this is Vegas so everything is there. Check out the old Casinos like Riviera and the off Strip places like Sams Town and Red Rock Casino. They got more characters and homies than the big names … also the Bellagio watershow shouldn’t be missed!
If you are into Cowboy boots there is a sheplers at Sams Town a Boot Star at the Fashion Mall and various other places all over town. If you are looking for cheap but nice accommodation try Primm only twenty minutes out of the strip in the middle of the mojave desert. There is even a not so good outlet mall there. But great scenery, nice rooms and dinner for little money.
Absolutely not to miss are the Red Rock Canyon State Park just out of Summerlin with beautiful, huge clusters of red sandstone. A all time classic is Boulder Damm the massive energy source of Vegas.
Las Vegas is not an outdoor place, the mafia want’s you inside losing money, too bad because theres nothing better than sipping a nice cup of coffee in front of a Starbucks at the strip, in dry desert air under a bright burning sun.
