Café Kranzler, Kranzler Eck Berlin, Germany
It’s Coffee time again.. The legendary “Café Kranzler” at Ku’damm is awakened from it’s beauty sleep by speciality coffee legend “The Barn”
Legends live longer…
after it’s closure a couple of years back the most recognised Berlin Caféhaus is back in glory. On top of the Superdry-Store, which is a bit weird, because you enter through the store, sits the once famous “Café Kranzler”. Brought back to live by the speciality coffee evangelists from “The Barn” one of the forerunners in the Berlin coffee scene. They already have a little Café in Mitte and there Roastery at Prenzlauer Berg, where all the magic happens. The interieur of the Café is designed in the minimalistic “The Barn” Style, which not everyone likes, but it suits the overall philosophy of the company: Coffee First! Handbrewed coffees, with clean flavours, freshly roasted in Berlin. Accompanied with handmade cakes or sandwiches. And yes they have craft beer too…
The 360° view over Ku’damm is spectacular, a great place to meet friends after shopping or get some creative work done (there’s wifi). In summer there is a large balcony under the signature red and white striped marquee.
How to get there:
S-Bahn to Zoologischer Garten is close or U-Bahn Station Kurfürstendamm, just out front.
Monday – Sunday from 10.00 am – 08.00 pm
